Relationships and Divine Guidance

Teacher Ophelius: Today we would like to talk about human relationships and divine guidance. Does God approve of your choices, decisions, or actions when you are following your heart, even when those choices, decisions, or actions cause emotional pain for another? Human relationships are very complex, and sorting out who is right and who is wrong is a “slippery slope” which can lead to a lot of heartache and emotional grief. There may be no solution that satisfies both parties in a relationship where meanings and values are defined differently, and so we look to God for guidance so we can “feel good” about our position.

Reflective Spirit: The river of energy and life is a continuous outpouring from the Deities, the universal and united stream of Paradise force going forth to all space. This divine energy pervades all creation. The force organizers initiate those changes and institute those modifications of space-force which eventuate in energy; the power directors transmute energy into matter; thus the material worlds are born. The Life Carriers initiate those processes in dead matter which we call life, material life. The Morontia Power Supervisors likewise perform throughout the transition realms between the material and the spiritual worlds. The higher spirit Creators inaugurate similar processes in divine forms of energy, and there ensue the higher spirit forms of intelligent life. Energy proceeds from Paradise, fashioned after the divine order. Energy — pure energy — partakes of the nature of the divine organization; it is fashioned after the similitude of the three Gods embraced in one, as they function at the headquarters of the universe of universes. And all force is circuited in Paradise, comes from the Paradise Presences and returns thereto, and is in essence a manifestation of the uncaused Cause — the Universal Father; and without the Father would not anything exist that does exist.

Paul: I would like to continue the discussion along the lines of what we were speaking about last week. Last week we discussed how the Paradise Father is in everything and in everyone. Before I continue the discussion along those lines I would like to focus on the Divine Adjuster. A friend once told me that the Thought Adjusters are like holograms in that the part contains the whole. When you splice a hologram, so to speak, you always take with you the original. So, if the part contains the whole, does that mean that the Thought Adjusters are the Paradise Father?

I had just recently learned that the I-AM presence is in everyone and in everything and of course that is something that, here on Urantia, is out of the realm of understanding of most individuals. So I would ask, whoever would like to come through, if you could please elaborate on that. Sonsamel Melchizedek: Hello Paul, this is Sonsamel Melchizedek and the question that you have is multi-faceted because you’re not only dealing with a question that has to do with the adjuster presence within the I-AM which is in every being but you’re also correlating that with the ultimatonic energy within every cell or every particle of energy. So, if you could quantify the question a little clearer I think I could answer it a little bit better.
