Desire is that function of the will responsible for the impulse that makes all will creatures take the initiatives to accomplish what they want. However, many times human desires are so much fixated that they lose sight of their dimensions and context, becoming plain obsessions of the ego. Obsessions often dominate the mind, becoming a misguided drive for mistaken actions, rushing things to achieve what you desperately but unwisely want. Rushing is sometimes necessary to not lose opportunities. But, all too often, rushing is indeed a foolish thing. I do have a lesson for you today. It is: ‘Rush not, my child!’

Teacher: Thought Adjuster —
Is it possible that, without realizing it, you’ve been living your life the wrong way? Is it possible that the Father created you to carry out a particular task that you have not yet discovered? Do you imagine that the Father would make your life into a riddle you must solve — or else be punished in some way? You know that this isn’t true. Your life has been a gift, one that comes with no conditions or terms of use. The Father demands nothing of you, but He wholeheartedly wishes for you to live in such a way that you experience true fulfillment and receive the inheritance that belongs to you as a child of God.

To those who are lonely, to those who are confused, to those who feel loss and find it difficult feel hope for the future, to those who cannot see their way out of the chaos of these times, I come to you with assurance from the Father that you are loved, that you are cherished, that there is a plan and you are part of it and that there will come a day when you will understand.

I was an early follower of John, known as the Baptist, who introduced me to Master Jesus, and subsequently, I introduced my brother Simon, Simon Peter. And you know some of the story of us walking with the Master and some of the corrections that have been made, but there are deep truths, and I think one gets a sense, hopefully, when in prayer, of being fearless of being able to walk in faith. For many of us, this change happened at Pentecost, where we went from our own limited understanding of the teachings of Jesus and the path to God to really being changed, to being able to connect with God through His holy spirit in our walk, and walk we did to many places. We didn’t look at it as what you might call proselytizing, but simply awakening the world to the love of God, to the great truth of being able to be born again.
